To say that my experience at the H.O.W. House was utterly life-changing would be an understatement. I learned how to put recovery principles into practice, and this has afforded me a quality of life I never knew I was capable of having. It wasn’t always easy, but the rewards are myriad. I’m genuinely happy today. My baby nephew is a part of my life. My mother can sleep at night, and she recently told me she’s the happiest she’s been in a very long time. These things mean everything to me.

I’m able to share my experience with other women through sponsorship and other opportunities available to H.O.W. House alumni, so the H.O.W. House continues to figure heavily in my recovery today.

My experience at the H.O.W. House didn’t just save my life; it gave me a life worth living. A life I can be proud of. I am forever grateful. ❤️
