Hello! **CAREGIVERS IMPACTED BY THEIR CHILD'S OPIOID USE DISORDER NEEDED FOR RESEARCH STUDY!** All interviews available online via Zoom!

Please see below for more information:

I am a fourth-year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology program at William James College. I am recruiting for a research study as part of my requirements for my doctoral degree, and I would appreciate your help in finding eligible participants!

My study is exploring the experiences of caregivers of adults with opioid use disorder. This includes examining caregivers’ character strengths, well-being, and coping. Participation involves a one-time, ONLINE meeting consisting of completion of two brief questionnaires and semi-structured interview. The entire process will take between 60-90 minutes. This study has been approved by my doctoral research committee, and the Institutional Review Board of William James College.

Eligible participants must fit the following criteria:
- Must be at least 18 years of age

- Must identify as a caregiver of an adult between the ages of 18-35 with opioid use disorder, or who is primarily struggling with opioid misuse
(please note***caregivers will meet criteria if their loved one is sober, as long as their loved one struggled with opioids for at least 1 year within the last 5 years)
- Must be in a caregiving role which may include: biological/adoptive parent, aunt, uncle, or grandparent (NOT a friend, partner, or sibling)

- Must not have a current or past substance use disorder of any kind

All participants will receive a $10 Visa gift card for their participation. If you know someone who meets these criteria and might be interested in my study, please ask them to email me at heather_corazzini@williamjames.edu for further information, or to schedule an interview.
I would greatly appreciate if you would share this post to help me reach as many caregivers as possible.

Thank you!!! <3
